SUAREZ TREATED LIKE A MURDERER

Liga - Aspas: Suarez is being treated like a murderer

Iago Aspas has said his former Liverpool team-mate Luis Suarez has been "treated like a murderer" since his latest biting incident.

Both players have left Anfield this summer – with Aspas joining Sevilla on a season loan deal and Suarez moving to Barcelona on a permanent deal.
However, Barcelona were not allowed to unveil Suarez at the Camp Nou because he is serving a four month ban from all football activity after biting Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's World Cup match with Italy at the World Cup.

Suarez was handed the hefty ban from FIFA as it was the third time in his career that he has been found guilty of biting an opponent.
"They are treating Luis like a murderer and not like a footballer," Aspas told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope.
"There are murderers who pay less. To not let him be presented, to train or to enter the stadium is too much."
Aspas move to Sevilla was officially confirmed this week and the Andalucia club have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Aspas, 26, moved to Anfield from Celta Vigo last summer but had a disappointing season and made just 15 appearances, the majority as a substitute, and scored one goal.
